I fiddled around with the clip, and basically adjusted the tension on it, and low and behold, it started to cycle again! When I got home, I suspected the clip was the problem, and it seemed like it was squeezing the bullet to tight, and not releasing it when you cycle the bolt. I loaded one directly into the chamber, and finished my hunt. Lucky I noticed it, and thought at first, I possibly didn't fully cycle the bolt all the way to rear, allowing it to load? I tried several times, and it still didn't load. I decided to take it out on a hunt a few days back, and when I get to stand, and try to load it, it didn't want to cycle a bullet from the clip? All seemed to function well, and it was in the ballpark of zero, when I finished. I was cleaning the bore and shooting it while adjusting the scope a bit, so I wasn't really able to check the accuracy too much. I took it out to sight it in, and break in the barrel, a week ago actually. Still liking the deal I made on this rifle, I'm a little bit let down about the overall quality and craftsmanship of the rifle, and scope. Well, I wanted to update my Savage 111 thread.
